IN FOUR YEARS, ALMOST 230 VICTIMS OF ACCIDENTS WITH TRACTORS DIED

The University of Aveiro (UA) announced that it is participating in the “AgroSafeBox” consortium, created to prevent accidents with agricultural machinery, which are the main cause of death in agricultural work nationwide.

These accidents are the main cause of death in agricultural work at national level, registering, according to data from the National Road Safety Authority (ANSR), 71 fatalities in 2017, 59 in 2018, 54 in 2019 and 44 in 2020.
